Hi,

I am new to both Eclipse as well as GCC based compilers.

Can someone please explain me the difference between "GNU Tools for ARM embedded processors" and "GNU MCU eclipse ARM embedded GCC". I found these two as toolchain options in the eclipse project setting.

I want to use some license-free compiler with eclipse for LPC2468(ARM7TDMI-s).

Thank you in advance.

Hello!
The "GNU Tools for ARM Embedded Processors" is the official ARM toolchain, including GCC and GDB, for ARM processors, while "GNU MCU Eclipse ARM Embedded GCC" is a version integrated with Eclipse for easier setup. Both are license-free and suitable for your LPC2468 (ARM7TDMI-s) development. Choose based on your preference and specific needs.
