Spacing bend points away from nodes [message #1866165] Wed, 22 May 2024 07:40 Go to next message

Hello, I'm trying to understand if there's any configuration that I might be missing for adjusting where edge bend points land in relation to their source nodes.

I've attached a screenshot of what I'm trying to configure (if possible). I want there to be more space between the node and the bend points that I've circled.

Does anyone know if this is something I can configure? Thanks in advance.

Hi, you can do this using the edgeNodeBetweenLayer spacing.
https://eclipse.dev/elk/reference/options/org-eclipse-elk-layered-spacing-edgeNodeBetweenLayers.html

See here for an elklive example.

PS: I advice you to ask questions directly on Github or on gitter since we do not always read the messages in here.

Thank you!

Far out, it seems so obvious when I see that configuration setting now... I swear I tried that lol.

Thanks again Sörien and I'll be sure to jump on Gitter or Github for future questions.
