It seems that CVS is no longer supported in Eclipse, but I have a CVS project that I need to be able to access.

I am upgrading eclipse from an old development environment, but the latest Eclipse doesn't give me the option to install it from the marketplace.

Are there any options to install CVS support in the latest Eclipse that I've missed?

If not, does anyone know what the last eclipse release is that does support CVS?

Thanks.

Oh, also, if there is a better forum for discussing this, please respond and I'll move this post over there.

There's a CVS plugin based on the original plugin at https://github.com/JAndrassy/org.eclipse.team.cvs . According to its bugtracker ( https://github.com/JAndrassy/org.eclipse.team.cvs/issues/5 ), it does not work with Eclipse 2024-03 due to a bug in Eclipse. I have not tried the plugin so I can't tell you more about it.

2021-12 was the last Eclipse IDE release that included support for CSV.

Excellent. Thank you so much.

I had installed 2024-03, but it looks like I'll give 2023-12 a try with the plugin you suggested. If I can't get that to work, I'll give 2021-12 a try.

I'm upgrading from Kepler (2014) so even the 2021-12 should be a big improvement.
