I really like Eclipse but I'm tired of having problems every 3 months when an upgrade is released. If it would only ask me before upgrading I could at least try to back things up. My heart sank when I saw the workspace is from an older version message earlier this evening and now it simply won't start. I get the 2024-03 splash screen, then maybe 10-15 seconds later "An error has occurred". As it won't start I guess this one isn't going to fix itself. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I'll attach a consolelog.
