MAT is not working on MAC Book PRO Apple M2 Max [message #1863930]

I have downloaded and tried two versions of MAT on my Mac book pro from "eclipse.dev/mat/downloads.php"
The versions I tried are below
Mac OSX (Mac/Cocoa/x86_64)
Mac OSX (Mac/Cocoa/AArch64)

In the both the cases I am getting below error:

MemoryAnalyzer quit unexpectedly.

vmSummary" : "ReadOnly portion of Libraries: Total=1132K resident=0K(0%) swapped_out_or_unallocated=1132K(100%)\nWritable regions: Total=23.5M written=0K(0%) resident=0K(0%) swapped_out=0K(0%) unallocated=23.5M(100%)\n\n VIRTUAL REGION \nREG

I appreciate any help how to make this work?

I don't know if it helps but in my case too Eclipse MAT did not work out of the box on a Mac. The steps here fixed it for me: edit /Applications/MemoryAnalyzer.app/Contents/Eclipse/MemoryAnalyzer.ini and add following line
/Library/Java/jdk-21.0.1.jdk/Contents/Home/bin
