Hi, I'm using the Eclipse release (2022-03, 4.23), and I noticed that in Preferences -> Java -> Compiler, I can only choose Java 17 with preview features. Java 18 isn't available yet. Since Java 18 was released after Eclipse 2022-03, will there be an official update before 2022-07 to support Java 18? Thanks!

Eclipse does quarterly releases. The current Eclipse IDE release is 2023-12 ( see https://eclipseide.org/ ). You should update to it if you can.

The JDT in Eclipse 2023-12 supports up to Java 21.

That would have been the 2022-06 release, as releases go out quarterly, but there have been 6 releases since then. As it is still supported in the current release, I'd suggest using the current release: 2023-12.
