Can't import a file [message #1862535] Sat, 09 December 2023 20:47 Go to next message

I am trying to use the jSerialComm JAR file in Eclipse while writing a Jython program. It says I can put it in the project file and link to it. I can't get my program to recognize it as an import. I have successfully done this in a small Java test file but can't get it to work with Jython. Jython and Python are installed using PyDev. A pointer to an example file would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to check https://www.pydev.org/about.html for a better place to ask questions. eclipse.org doesn't provide tools for Python or Jython. You might also want to clarify which "it" said to "put it in the project file and link to it"--be very judicious when using pronouns in any technical questions.
