Drop Signal on Activity [message #1862483] Thu, 07 December 2023 02:08 Go to next message

I am currently experiencing a weird behavior on a Papyrus RCP v6.5 based installation on Windows 11 (AMD64) and Java 17. The same user action works smoothly on a more custom Papyrus v6.4 installation on MacOS 14.1.2 (Apple Silicon) and Java 17.

When, within a SysML 1.6 model I drop a signal on an activity pane within an activity diagram on Win11 a single process seems to run forever. At least a single processor core is blocked for 30+ minutes.

Hello Carsten,

Unfortunately, we have a known hard bug with SendSignalActions and AcceptEventActions, where the tool freeze completely [1]. It may be possible that the bug you encounter comes from it. We will try to fix it.

Best regards,
Pauline

Many, many thanks Pauline. So I will keep this feature out of the modeling guide as long as the issue exists.
