I incorporated Trace Compass RCP 9.1 as a target platform in my project, alongside Eclipse version 2023.9. However, I encountered dependency conflicts leading to errors in my project. How can I solve the conflicts among dependencies?

Hi

could you please provide some more details on the error you see? Also, do you mean that you have create a target definition with Trace Compass? If yes, which update site do you use there?

Best Regards
Bernd

Thank you for your feedback. yes, exactly, I created a target definition with Trace Compass. repo that was used is there :
https://download.eclipse.org/tracecompass/releases/9.1.0/rcp-repository/
and Trace Compass RCP Product - https://download.eclipse.org/tracecompass/2023-09/stable/rcp-repository/

but I think, both are same
Earlier I did not have any problem but after updating the Eclipse to 2023.9 version, I see a lot of dependency conflicts.

Hi Hesam,

I tried to install the features from the releases/9.1.0/rcp-repository over Eclipse 2023-09 and I did get some conflicts, for org.eclipse.ui.trace plug-in.
I am not sure how this happened, but we re-ran the job to build the stable repositories today and they were updated with the correct versions this time.
Note that the job populates this repository: https://download.eclipse.org/tracecompass/stable/rcp-repository/
I was able to install the features using this repository.
The other repositories that you quoted did not get updated.
Also note that after the 9.2.0 release next month, the repository https://download.eclipse.org/tracecompass/stable/rcp-repository/ will get updated to the stable-9.2 branch with 2023-12 (4.30) Eclipse dependencies.

Hope this helps,
Patrick
