I have been using Mylyn for several years without issue. Now, using Eclipse 2023-09 the tasks with a status of 'Closed' are not shown as closed in the task list and do not disappear if I select 'Hide Closed'.

Also, I am getting an error message when eclipse starts up . The message is:
eclipse.buildId=4.29.0.20230907-1200

java.vendor=Eclipse Adoptium
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86_64, WS=win32, NL=en_GB
