I want to simulate the lane-changing and lane-forwarding algorithms my friend wrote. I am not sure how can I write and test my script. What part of the script stays and what can be edited? Can someone please guide me through it?

I am editing the MSLCM_LC2013.h and MSLCM_LC2013.cpp scripts in src/microsim/lcmodels directory for the new model.

Open to using any alternative way too.
