Questions about the migration from GMF to Sirius diagrams? [message #1861012] |

I have noticed that there is an ongoing initiative to replace the usage of the GMF framework as a base for Papyrus diagrams with Sirius equivalent diagram framework:

I have a number of questions regarding this effort that I would be happy if anyone can answer:
- Is there a plan when this migration will be officially released?
- Will GMF-based diagrams still be supported in future releases of Papyrus, or which will be the final Papyrus version supporting GMF-based diagrams?
- Will there be any migration tooling to automatically migrate existing GMF-based diagrams to Sirius diagrams in user models?
- Will there be any kind of support (tooling and/or guidelines) to migrate user-specific plugins currently dependent on the GMF-framework?
