Project-->Properties-->C/C++ General does not appear [message #1860277]

Hi everybody,

I have installed the Eclipse IDE for C and C++ Developers - 2022-09 and I am trying to set up my indexer as I am receiving the "Could not find symbol 'X' in index" message.

After reading the following forum,

when I go to Project-->Properties, the C/C++ General folder does not appear. Why is that? Is it because I have not installed the Eclipse correctly?

Why did you install an older release? Also, as noted in https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/1111086/, discussions for CDT are now on GitHub.
