IntelOne Mono font incorrectly rendered [message #1860063] Fri, 14 July 2023 14:37 Go to next message

In Windows 10 if I set the IntelOne Mono font the bold words get a different spacing:

index.php/fa/43333/0/

Whereas if the font is Consolas the bold spacing is correct:

index.php/fa/43334/0/

It sounds more likely to be a problem with the font than a problem with Eclipse. I have Windows 10 and I don't see that as a choice so I assume it is something that must be installed?

Once installed, can you use it in an application like Word? If if you use it in Word, or some other application that supports fonts, does the bold version of the font have the same spacing/pitch as the non-bold version?

I can use it in any application. The spacing and pitch are the same as the non-bold. It is only in Eclipse that it is different

This is in Word:
index.php/fa/43339/0/

You can report an issue here:

https://github.com/eclipse-platform/eclipse.platform.swt/issues

If folks need to install the font, you need to explain where to get it. I think you also should provide an SWT snippet that reproduces the problem. You might consider investigating thee issue yourself:

This was fixed in the 1.3 version of the font: https://github.com/intel/intel-one-mono
