Currently 4diac IDE is interacting with 4diac FORTE following the configurability provisions of the "IEC 61499 compliance profile for feasibility demonstrations". The descriptions can be found here: https://www.holobloc.com/doc/ita/s4.htm

We extended this for monitoring requirements: https://eclipse.dev/4diac/en_help.php?helppage=html/development/forte_monitoring.html

We are currently working on a prototype bringing this communication to OPC UA. The first draf comit for 4diac FORTE can be found here: https://git.eclipse.org/r/c/4diac/org.eclipse.4diac.forte/+/201441

Not sure what you mean with control 4diac FORTE through java?
