Apparently changing editor font has been moved all over the place in past..
.hence moving target...

How do I change editing font size in 2022-012 ?

I don't think that's true. Where are you looking that it's not in the same place as before?

I would suggest not bring up the past if you don't want someone else to bring up the past that you yourself brought up...

You could try typing "font" in the search field of the preference and that would quickly find for you General -> Appearance -> Colors and Fonts. Probably you want Basic -> Text Font on that page, though specific editors can configure their own. E.g., there is also Java -> Java Editor Text Font which defaults to the previous setting...

Reasons are good, but the various font preference locations haven't moved, at least not the ones typically from eclipse.org. Without knowing
exactly which font preferences you're referring to, and where they were, it's harder to make sure you're being pointed in the right direction if
they somehow have been moved.

Question:
Is is customary to close / mark post as solved ?
I realize I can stop monitoring the replies, but I do not want to be impolite , however , I do not subscribe here to engage in social chitchat either.
