Hi,

We have a product hosted on Sourceforge that is an Eclipse installer hosted as a single exe for download.

We'd like to be listed on the Market Place, but we cannot find a way for the download link at sourceforge to be used within 'Install New Software'.

Our question is this:
How do we enable our single exe to be downloaded when someone tries to create an update site with it's link at sourceforge - for use in Eclipse's Install New Software option ?

Do we need to create a updatesite.xml file or something similar to enable this to work ?

Yes, you can only use Install New Software to install items (features) from a p2 update site.
