Eclipse PDT crash when editing Javascript files [message #1856381]

Hello everyone. I am on a new Macbook running Ventura 13.0 and have installed the latest version of Java SE, Eclipse PDT, and several plugins for PHP development including the Wild Web Developer.

Anytime I try to edit a Javascript file with the Generic Text Editor set in the File Associations, Eclipse will crash. See the crash report in the attachment.

If I change the file association to Text Editor, or an external tool, it does not crash.

Any ideas how to fix?
