Hello,

I still work with Eclipse 3.8 and Java 1.7 on my

Now I want to set up everything completely new, and created a new SD-Card with Rasperry PI OS 64Bit and downloaded
Eclipse IDE for Java Developers AArch64 from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/
I tried several times.
Sometimes I could install the IDE, sometimes not.
Sometimes I could even start the IDE and create a new Project.

It always ended up with the Raspberry pi being unresponsive and me having to unplug it. To me it looked like the RAM was not enough.

I wonder if it is at all possible to install Eclipse on the Raspberry Pi 3 B+.

Maybe someone can help me further?

Thank you
Andi

With only 1GB of physical RAM, yes, that's probably the problem.
