Can't Use Papyrus SysML 1.4 [message #1855710]

Hello,

Due to several reasons I need to model using Papyrus SysML 1.4, NOT SysML 1.6 (I know the latest standard is Papyrus SysML 1.6).

I am using Eclipse Installer 2022‑06 R, then installing Eclipse Modeling Tools, then Papyrus SysML 1.4 1.3.2.

Once I am done and re-start my machine, I can't find the Papyrus perspective in the Eclipse IDE.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make it appear? Or is this a legit bug?

Hi Jose,
SysML14 is not supported for the latest releases of Papyrus. EOL was 2019-06 [2] and support was switched to SysML16.
Thought you might be able to make it work on later versions I can't really tell you where this would end in random problems.

Are you set on using 2022-06R ? You can view all the released bianiries from here if you have any doubts on whether a release was meant for a version or not [1].
When you say that you are using the installer, are you referring to oomph or the market place ?
In any case I'll try to look at why this is possible and work on a fix to prevent this in the future.
