Hey there,

In Sirius versions 6.3.0 to 6.6.0 there is a bug in the image exporter. When you have scaling set to 150% in Windows and export a representation to JPG the text in nodes correctly scale, however if you export to SVG/PNG the text is smaller and is moved to the left of the node.

This also happens in Obeo Designer version 11.5 but is fixed in 11.7, which corresponds with the Sirius versions 6.3.0 and 7.0.0 respectively.

I've attached images from Obeo 11.5 below to show the problem.

Could we get the fix for this down branched to version 6.6.0 ? Otherwise, it would be great to get information on what was changed to fix this bug so that we know if we fix it ourselves.

As an aside is there an issue tracker for Sirius ? Or anyway to get in touch directly instead of going through the forums ?

From the description this could correspond to this ticket: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=574390. The actual change can be seen at https://git.eclipse.org/r/c/sirius/org.eclipse.sirius/+/182351.

We have not planned a maintenance release of the 6.6.x branch at the moment. I can cherry-pick the patch on the v6.6.x branch and point you to a nightly build which includes it when it's ready for you to test and confirm this is indeed the fix you want.

As for the issue tracker, for now Sirius Desktop uses the Eclipse Bugzilla at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/. You will find Sirius-related issues in "Classification: Modeling, Product: Sirius".

Hi Pierre-Charles,

Thank you very much for the response and creating the nightly build so that we can check the fix. I've tested it now and it indeed does fix the issue we were having.

Would it be possible to add it to a maintenance release of 6.6.x ? Or if not, is there a way for us to extend the SiriusGraphicsToGraphics2DAdaptor to apply the fix ourselves?
