When I try to build a eclipse product from a p2-updatesite justj using maven-tycho the -vm-argument inside the eclipse.ini file is not set if the p2-repository is located in a directory on the local filesystem. Everything works if the p2-repository is located on a webserver.

Should this work? Am I doing something that's obviously wrong?

best regards

That doesn't really make sense. The touch point processing does not care where the metadata is physically located and should just work in all cases...
