I have an RCP 3.x project that compiles and runs in the Eclipse (2022-06) IDE just fine. I recently upgraded it to use Java 17 from Java 8. When exporting the logs are filled with

[Path]\cse.rssm.gui\cse.rssm.gui.wizards.network\src\main\java\cse\rssm\gui\wizards\network\Activator.java:32 [error] Syntax error, annotations are only available if source level is 1.5 or greater

messages. But again it compiles in the ide, and was Java 8 originally anyway. I have checked every setting I can think of, and have tried a new workspace without luck. Thanks in advance for any help!
