I have recently used 4DIAC Forte for a raspberry pi, using the preset I/O modules in 4DIAC IDE. My question is if it is possible to create a 4DIAC Forte for the manipulation of inputs and outputs of a SIMATIC ET 200SP Open Controller CPU 1515SP PC2 of the Siemens brand.

In short yes.

The long version is that to my current knowledge it is not as straight forward as on other platforms. The last time we experimented with this controller IO access was only possible via S7 part. But there was the possibility to have a shared memory communication between S7 part and any executable running in open controller part. The drawback is that both parts have to be fitting. So you need dedicated memory and function blocks on the s7 part and you need some special code on your application (e.g., 4diac FORTE). The good news is that Siemens provides templates for these which will get you started pretty quick.

Excuse me and do you know if there are practical exercises based on the use of these templates, and could you help me with a guide.
