I have a jdbc driver for a proprietary database. I can connect to the DB with my driver and execute queries but I can't view the schema. How does Eclipse get the schema? So far I've figured out that Eclipse calls functions such as getMetaData(), getTables(), and getColumns() but I don't know how all the pieces fit together. Any tips would be helpful.
