Strange debugging behavior [message #1852809] Sat, 04 June 2022 19:45
Eclipse UserFriend
When I run my program in debug and set a breakpoint on main it will stop as expected. I can set the stepping mode in the debug window. Both of these options are ignored immediately after clicking into the variables window and the program completes and exits. If I leave the variables window open it simply does not stop. I can see in the debug mode that the steeping mode icon in the debug goes grey when this happens and clicking it well the program is running does not have any result. How can I both step through and inspect variables?
