Dear all,

i try to use eclipse behind a heavy firewall which exchange certificate in https connectsion.

I also cannot install root-crt in java enviroment.

So i cannot connect to marketplace, because it uses always https connections and stop communicating because of wrong certificates.

http-connection to marketplace should be working.

So how can i get eclipse to use http instead of https?

I tried already the following entries in eclipse.ini:

-Dorg.eclipse.epp.internal.mpc.core.service.DefaultCatalogService.url=http://marketplace.eclipse.org
-Dorg.eclipse.epp.internal.mpc.core.service.MarketplaceService.url=http://marketplace.eclipse.org/catalogs/api/p

But this does not work :(

Any Idea?
