Class Tree Table and Label [message #1849088]

Hi all,

I successfully imported Classes and ownedAttributes using a Class Tree Table and a CSV file (Names).

I don't know how to import a Label field, ie how to add a column for a Label?

Any advice please?

Hello Ilja,
if your label field is represented in your model by a stereotype property, you must add the column corresponding to this property to your table before importing your data and it should work (the stereotype will be automatticaly applied).

Hi Ilja,
which label do you mean?
The one shown as field in the property view is simply provided by a Java properties-file residing beneath the uml-, di- and notation-file in the file system. The filename is appended by your systems' ISO language code (in my case "_de_DE") and the suffix is properties.

Yes, that's right,
I found it two days ago in that .notation file
and it has a simple syntax.
A utility will be written which will generate this file .notation using Excel (for editing the Label in the given column) with copy to a text file.

I meant the .properties file, not the .notation file :)
