Has anyone implemented FOR Loops in 4diac. I want to be able to recall the same sequence a number times. Also is there a JMP instruction in 4diac that will let you jump to certain sequence just like in Allen-Bradley. Thank You

Hi,

IEC 61499 allows to write algorithms in Basic and Composite FBs. 4diac allows to write these algorithms in IEC 61131-3 ST. There you can use FOR loops (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Structured_text).

I haven't used the JMP instruction in Allen-Bradley PLCs. But I think the IEC 61499 events and the ECCs of Basic FBs is what you could need here.

Cheers,
Alois
