We are trying to bundle Epsilon features with our own without duplicating the artifact repository storage. As this is primarily a P2 issus, I have put the
corresponding question in the P2 forum. However, I am cross-posting here as our query is motivated by Epsilon. If we get a recipe, we may be able to add it here. And if anyone on Epsilon has experience, please add an answer here as well.

I believe that this is what we also do in Epsilon; we refer to remote artefacts instead of copying them in our repo. If memory serves, this is achieved through the repository-reference elements in [1].

It looks like we still do https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=453708#c37 too. Perhaps Tycho has evolved in the meanwhile and this is no longer necessary; I'll have to have a closer look into this.
