Up to target 2021.06 a fragment.e4xmi contributing a PartDescriptor could be shown in the "Show View" selection dialog by adding the View tag.

Now this is not the case anymore. Some debugging showed, that the resp. dialog is now called via org.eclipse.ui.internal.dialogs.ShowViewDialog instead of the earlier org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench.swt.internal.copy.ShowViewDialog.

somehow this seems to have something todo with the "isFilteredByActivities" whatever that is?!

Is anyone familiar with this problem?
