About the Role
The Workday Studio team are looking for an experienced eclipse developer who will contribute to the design and development of the next generation of tools within Workday's Integration Platform.
You will be joining the team who own Workday Studio, the primary tool Integration developers use to build sophisticated and reliable integrations that place Workday within a customer's enterprise landscape. Workday Studio is a successful product with widespread and ever-increasing use. Designed as a visual integrated development environment built on the Eclipse platform, we code in both Java and Scala. We are constantly looking for ways to further enable our users by extending the tools on offer.
Our new team member will bring expertise in building new services for our stack, and who is confident enough to learn and co-own the current product offering, and who will understand its important contribution to Workday's constantly-evolving cloud platform architecture. The various aspects of the role will include: working with product management and the team to understand the domain and the users, actively driving the design conversation, rapidly building prototypes, and deliver and be responsible for a quality product.
About You
Desired skills:
- Eclipse Plugin development / OSGi
- Proven proficiency in Java and the JVM
- Experience with enterprise-level integration tools
- Continuous Integration tools and pipelines
- Knowledge of Functional Programming principles (Scala for instance)
