I am new to Eclipse. But 30 years in IT.

I am trying to find a way to deploy Eclipse IDE across our network to allow students to program in java. We use SCCM as our deployment tool. Can anyone explain best way to achieve this. We have ben requested by one of our computer science teachers to install this.

I'm not sure what SCCM or how it relates to your Eclipse installation question. I assume you don't want to just let each user install their own version of Eclipse in their own home folder, which is easy with the Eclipse Installer.

Maybe this helps:

If you download https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/2021-09/R/eclipse-java-2021-09-R-win32-x86_64.zip and unzip it into a folder that is read-only for your users, then they can all share it and you're done...
