Hi Carlos,
Titan was originally developed for linux, so if You have the option to use some kind of emulated linux environment I strongly suggest to do so.
Titan can be used on windows in 2 different ways:
- Windows 10 (assuming you have Windows 10) provides nowadays an embedded linux environment WSL (Windows subsystem for linux) that allows simple installation of one or several different linux distros within Windows. Appropriate titan linux binaries can be easily installed into WSL. However this option may be viable mostly for those who only want to comile TTCN code, because running the tests is largly limited by the restrictions of the WSL.
- Or You might give a try to the pure Java version of Titan that would automatically solve issues of portability to Windows. This option is available if You are using Eclipse as a developement environment IDE.
Regards,
