Hello,

I installed Jetty 9.4.42 in Eclipse 4.20 (2021-06) and got lots of validation errors. I verified that the missing plugins are installed but still reported as missing. Please see attached screenshot.

Example:
org.eclipse.jetty.alpn.client
Missing Constraint: Import-Package: org.eclipse.jetty.io; version= "[9.4.42,10.0.0)"
Missing Constraint: Import-Package: org.eclipse.jetty.util.log; version= "[9.4.42,10.0.0)"

Any input please.

What do you mean you "installed Jetty 9.4.42 in Eclipse 4.20"? Eclipse 4.20 contains bundles from Jetty 10.0.5.

Hello,

Yes, I installed Jetty 9.4.42 in eclipse 4.20.
We're currently using version 9.4.10 (https://download.eclipse.org/jetty/updates/jetty-bundles-9.x/9.4.10.v20180503/) and now upgrading it to latest 9.4.x using eclipse 4.20.
When i use Jetty 9.4.10 in eclipse 4.20, there is no validation error (not sure why). Can't we use latest 9.4.x in eclipse 4.20?

Also, yes, I see that eclipse 4.20 is using bundles from Jetty 10.x , however I can't find p2 repository to install 10.x.

You might find what you need by browsing https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/jetty/ or https://download.eclipse.org/webtools/jetty/.
Check https://www.eclipse.org/lists/cross-project-issues-dev/msg18518.html for some information to watch for p2 repositories
directly from Jetty.

I just pulled the 10.0.5 jetty bundles from maven site and create local p2 repo..
