I have installed the above version of IDz but EGit was not included in the package. Also I couldn't download it from the URLs provided in IDz help. What is the correct source for me to install EGit from IDz, please ?

What is IDz ?
AFAIK it's not an Eclipse project.

IDz is "IBM Developer for z Systems".

Sergio, you need to open a support ticket with IBM. The open-source Eclipse IDE & EGit developers have no control over the closed-source products IBM produces based on the Eclipse IDE.

That said, it should be possible to install EGit from the usual update site; see EGit downloads.

One caveat: in my experience IBM products are typically based on Eclipse versions that are a couple of years old. If that's the case for IDz, the newest EGit may or may not install. Give it a try; if it doesn't work, you'll have to figure out what Eclipse version your IDz is based on, check which EGit version to use, and then use the appropriate older EGit version.

I can personally vouch for EGit nightly installing fine in RSA 9.7.0.2 (another IBM product, based on Eclipse Oxygen.3).
