Is it possible to add a parameter to filter by a computed column and if so how?

I have column which gives the level of a bill of material in Birt as a computed column and would like to have the option to filter by level

Hi, thank you, this does work when previewing in Birt, really appreciated, however, when this is in the ERP software it crashes.
