We are happy to announce the release of Scout 11!
One highlight of the release is the new chart widget. Based on Chart.js, the new widget gives you the possibility to visualize your data beautifully. No matter if you are using the regular or the dark theme: the chart will integrate seamlessly into your app.
Another highlight is the improved mobile support. To provide a better mobile experience, various widgets have been enhanced. This includes a new compact style for tables, a better visualization of the outline, an alternative style for menus and much more.
These were only two of the many new features. Check out the Release Notes for a complete list. Also make sure to read the Migration Guide to properly update your app.
In addition to the release of the latest Scout version, today is also the launch of the new Scout website! The website has been completely rebuilt. It shines with a modern look and contains more detailed information about what Scout is.
Along with the website, the Scout documentation platform has been updated as well. It was important to us to simplify the first steps into Scout. Therefore, you will now find a getting started guide along with new tutorials for Scout Classic and Scout JS containing instructions for Eclipse and IntelliJ.

BTW: Scout 11 is also available as part of the brand-new Eclipse IDE 2021-03.
