Hello,
I teach programming. Since everything is remote, my students use a variety of java programming environments. I am ignorant about most of them, including Eclipse. They are having an odd problem, but it sounds like one you folks will know about. They will write some (usually very simple) code, believe it to be correct, but it fails to run. They then cut the offending code out (onto the clipboard) and paste it back in, and then the code works. They are not experienced in describing problems, and so this is all I can tell you. If this is insufficient information, I'll collect code from them that exhibits this behaviour and post it as a follow-up, along with error messages and whatever else you tell me to collect. Thanks.
