index.php/fa/39999/0/index.php/fa/39998/0/I want to store a filepath into a string that can be called to be opened anytime in the program. My program is written in a way that when a user clicks on the upload file button it opens the users file explorer and the user can only choose a text file,. After the user picks a text file the absolutepath of the text file is printed to the screen. I want to code it in a way that when the user clicks on preview file, the last chosen path(txt file) would be opened on the screen

So far there's no mention of anything specifically to do with Eclipse (nor any source code to give insight about why this is something you're stuck on). You might try a more general programming forum like JavaRanch or Stack Overflow.
