Hi,

1) What is the function and meaning of the following file:

p2\org.eclipse.equinox.p2.engine\profileRegistry\<profileName>.profile\.data\org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.touchpoint.eclipse.actions\jvmargs

It contains:

-----------------------------
#Wed Mar 01 06:02:40 EST 2017
-Xms=40m
-Xmx=512m
-----------------------------

Is this a storage for "p2 profile JVM options"?

2) How do the JVM memory options in this file relate to ones in 'eclipse.ini'?

3) I'm preparing an Eclipse platform using 'p2.director'. Is there any option (e.g. property to be passed via '-profileProperties'?) to pass options to be set in this 'jvmargs' file?

4) I'm thinking about removing this file. What will be the effect?
