TITLE=
How to install Eclipse 2020 + Linux

This might be a silly question but I went to
http://www.eclipse.org
There is the Download button to the top right.
which leads to
https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/
There is a button that says Download x86_64
Clicking that gives me
eclipse-inst-jre-linux64.tar.gz
but I am not seeing any link there that explains how to install this thing.

I am running Kubuntu 20.10, if it matters.
It's 64 bit.

Unpack the file ("tar xzf eclipse-inst-jre-linux64.tar.gz") and run the result.

A window comes up with the TITLE
Eclipse Installer
An error has occurred. See the log file null.

Where is the log file?
