How to recover from missing library WITHOUT reinstall? [message #1836149] Tue, 22 December 2020 09:58 Go to next message

I have an old folder with many older releases I like to use.
Reinstalling to obtain the missing reference is impractical .

The Eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its
companion shared library.

What exactly is "companion shared library."?

I am sure I have it , now I need to know what to look for.

Do you have read and execute permissions for the entire file tree where Eclipse is installed?
