Rational Application Developer (RAD 8.5.5) stops working after upgrading to macOS Big Sur [message #1835373] Tue, 01 December 2020 15:54 Go to next message

I have upgraded to Big Sur. Since then, RAD (which is built on Eclipse) opens up, but I cannot click anything on it. The User Interface is disabled. How can I fix this problem? Thanks for input.

You should go through product support, but for starters I'm pretty sure that version is several years old and you should try what ever is the current release.

Thanks. You mean go with Eclipse support or RAD support? I need to wait to go to latest version of RAD. But, I am not sure what version of Eclipse does latest RAD (9.7x) uses.

Just did some research and found that latest version of RAD (9.7x) is supported on macOS High Sierra and it uses Eclipse Oxygen workbench. So, not sure if it will work on Big Sur.
