Hi,

I was making some changes in the project, later when I opened the project, I was getting the following error. I have lost alot of my work because of this. Could anyone please help me in recovering it.

Have you looked at what's actually in that file? It sounds like the first character of the first line is not a '<'.

Thanks for your swift reply.
I am actually getting the error in a generated file. The value seems to be a null (ASCII ) character. The entire file is filled with it. Do you have any idea How can I revert without loosing any progress?

If it's generated, then I imagine you should delete it and let it be regenerated. But in the end, com.algoshack.algoprofiler provides this technology, so it's probably best to ask about it from wherever you got this.

Eclipse itself does maintain a "local history" so you can try Replace With -> Local History... from the context menu of a file to restore an older version of a file.
