Few times a year it happens not only to me that instead of refreshing my workspace I end up closing all the projects. Then builds comes into place and I am loosing tens minutes of time to open and build all the projects again.

So please. If there is some possibility to move the Close option a bit far from Refresh.

You'd need to open a bug report:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform&component=UI&version=4.18

Likely it will be ignored, but you could push on the issue by contributing the requested changes. You could follow these instructions to setup a development environment for that purpose:

https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Platform_SDK_Provisioning

Or you could learn to press F5. Or you could use Preferences -> General -> Workspace -> "Refresh using native hooks or pooling" so that you don't need to hit F5.
