Eclipse not able to create JVM [message #1830240] Tue, 21 July 2020 15:58 Go to next message

I am running into an issue where using an open JDK version: 11.0.6
the Eclipse installer is unable to create a JVM and is unable to install.
I have tried adding the -vm flag with the directory my open JDK is installed in the eclipse-installer.ini, but it still cannot create a JVM.

Is there any known issues for this or a way to get around this?

Is that a 32-bit OpenJDK 11.0.6? Eclipse needs it to be 64-bit.

What path is the OpenJDK installed in? Maybe there's something strange about it.

I assume this is on the Mac? Perhaps it's similar to this:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=559482

Though I thought that was specific to AdoptOpenJDK; it is apparently fixed in the 11.0.7 version.
