How to add part and reference to bdd [message #1828389] Tue, 09 June 2020 01:57 Go to next message

I would like to know how can I add a part to a block in a bdd while modeling in Papyrus Sysml 1.4.

I'm using Eclipse Modeling Tools

Version: Oxygen.3a Release (4.7.3a)
Build id: 20180405-1200

Can someone help me?

I can only give you part of the answer. I never did it visual the way you do...
I create them in two ways: via the IDB
index.php/fa/38292/0/
OR via different type of associations
index.php/fa/38293/0/

The resulting question why both blocks are showed in both part AND Reference I have no idea!

Thank you very much for your fast reply.

I want to show the parts exactly the way you do it in your image "Parts_refs_BDD.png"

Look here. I tried different associations but the non of them make my parts and ref appear in the system block.
index.php/fa/38295/0/

I even tried using ibd.
index.php/fa/38296/0/

They are shown in the model browser but they don't show up in the system block.

I don't know what I'm missing. Could you help me, please?

Select block and press F4 (or press on the ghost like symbol and select Show/ Hide content) and switch all on

Thank you very much. Now, I can see all the elements.

Problem solved.

index.php/fa/38298/0/

In previus versions this was shown by default.
