Hi all,
this is my first post in this forum.
i am an mechanical engineer with medium programming skills.
python is new to me.
in the last month i worked on a project on a gokart-track with raspberrys, python and mosquitto.
there is:
1 "race-server", which is also the mqtt-broker,
15 "karts", which are driving around the track,
a WiFi with 5 hotspots around the track.
when i start a kart, everything works as it should:
connecting, sending and receiving messages.
BUT:
when the kart moves, it connects to different hotspots, and that takes a veeery long time, typically approx. 5 sec !
the biggest problem is:
even if there is a WiFi-connection again, the MQTT-Client is NOT connected to the broker !
can someone give me a hint how to reconnect ?
or should it happen automatically ?
best regards,
Matthias
