Does anyone know why my Eclipse EE editor has strange characters at the end of each code line like this? How can I fix it? Thank you for your help.

Check the toolbar for a button to toggle showing of whitespace characters. Looks like you turned that on at some point.

General > Editors > Text Editors > Show whitespace characters = off
